The big moth suddenly flew out from nowhere. Was that my mother-in-law that came back to visit us? After all, yesterday was the last day of the 7th Month Ghost Festival, and moths are thought to be spirits of the deceased.
It’s Tuesday, and it’s the school holidays. Didn’t really have any more annual leaves, and since the elder kid is having her PSLE soon, it won’t be a time of fun and play as much as previous years. Nonetheless, I tried not to stress her, and let her study at her own pace, since she did score quite alright for her Prelims.
I didn’t do a lot today. And the mood was somewhat a little low. I’m not too sure if it’s because the children and hub are at home, or because I didn’t plan my schedule for the day. In fact, I actually missed out posting for the social media yesterday! Thankfully, I manage to salvage it.
It’s a day where I really don’t feel like working. I can’t find meanings in what I do, and things had been chaotic with so many new changes, such that everyone is feeling exhausted. Yet, most of us can’t simply just quit. A friend was retrenched around half a year ago, and she still couldn’t find a job till now.
Since I’m feeling so tired today due to some unknown reasons, I shall try and sleep earlier after I finished my planning for the rest of the year. Needed more clarity and structures in my life. Press on! I know I can do it, you can too!
