“In the vast expanse of life's journey, the trajectory we set out on is seldom a straight line. It twists and turns, presenting us with new challenges and opportunities that may reshape our ambitions and perspectives. As you navigate through the ever-changing landscape of your existence, one question stands out: Are you willing to adjust your course to prioritize what matters most in your life at that point? Life is a dynamic entity, constantly in flux. What seemed vital to you a year ago might have taken a backseat to new aspirations and responsibilities that have cropped up since then. It's crucial to recognize that change is not synonymous with failure; it's a testament to your growth and adaptability. Take a moment to pause, reflect, and assess whether the goals you once set still resonate with you. If they no longer spark joy or align with your values, it might be time to set a new course. By being willing to adjust your course, you are acknowledging the ebb and flow of life's tide. Find solace in the act of adjustment, for it is a testament to your resilience and unwavering commitment to living a life that is truly yours.”

Adjust. Adapt. Thrive.

It wasn't that good a morning, since I didn't get to have a good sleep. The boy had a fever since yesterday, and I had to make sure that his temperature's alright in the middle of the night. And the dad wasn’t helping when he brought up the topic on our different parenting style yet again. No… not early in the morning please… It wasn’t a heated argument, but it wasn’t that fantastic to have to “debate” early in the morning.

Anyway, I’m not working today. Took leave to look after the boy and now I’m having headache and sore throat. I hope I did not catch any virus but the symptoms doesn’t look good. Ah… It’s hard at times, isn’t it. Feels like no matter how hard you try, life just kept on throwing more things at you.

Well, at this point, you can either decide to be a victim, and continue to whine and feel sorry for yourself, OR you can choose to get a good nap, wake up and thrive. It’s a choice. It’s alright if you decided to take a few days to vent out, just don’t take too long because the longer you whine, the longer you tend to need to get back on track.

For me, I shall go take a nap now, get some nice food, and revisit my plan for the rest of the year again!
